Crocodile Pool in Bakau.

The crocodile pool, is located in Bakau. Not long from Senegambia.The exact number of crocodiles is not known but it is estimated that there are about 80.  Crocodiles are allowed to roam freely, and can be approached and touched by visitors. Crocodiles found in the wild are sometimes taken to and reared at the holy pools.

The tourist market are selling clothes, jewellery, arts and crafts. you can be chatting to the stall holders and haggling over  gifts to take home.

The produce market are selling fruit and vegetables, meat and fish,    They have Smoked fish, dried hibiscus flowers for making wonjo juice, peanuts being mashed into a sauce, great slabs of meat – you’ll see it all here.
